California Primary Election Day
June 2 @ 7:00 am – 8:00 pm

June 2 is the last day to vote in the 2026 California Primary Election.
- Missed the registration deadline? Same Day Voter Registration is available through Election Day at your county elections office or any in-person voting location in your county.
- Ballot drop-off locations are open now. You can also return your ballot by mail or at your county elections office.
- Vote centers for early in-person voting are open now. More locations open statewide on Saturday, May 30.
- Election Day hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mail ballots must be postmarked by June 2. If you are mailing on Election Day, get a hand-stamped postmark from a postal employee inside a U.S. Post Office.
- Find voting locations and your county elections office at sos.ca.gov.
