In honor of Black History Month, the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts and the Tracy Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly present their second annual community-wide celebration. The event, themed “The Heartbeat of Change: Rooted in Legacy, Rising in Purpose,” recognizes African American history, culture, and heritage through a keynote address, Afro-centric drumming and dance, youth performances, an art showcase, culturally curated food, and community awards honoring past pioneers and future leaders. This celebration is open to all community members.

Save the date! Tracy Area Alumnae Chapter’s Crab Feed Fundraiser Dinner & Dance will be on Saturday, March 6, 2027. It will be an evening of great food, music, and community impact. You’ll enjoy your choice of delicious crab or a tri-tip dinner, along with pasta, salad, and bread. After dinner, hit the dance floor for a night of fun. Proceeds benefit our chapter’s scholarship fund and community outreach programs serving Tracy, Manteca, Lathrop, French Camp, Mountain House, Patterson, and Ripon. This event has been a community favorite since 2006 (with a pause post-pandemic). Tickets will go on sale in December 2026 – stay tuned!
