Political Candidate Forum Educates Voters on Tracy Races

Attendees heard from candidates for local offices at the Tracy Political Candidate Forum, held Sept. 25 at Victory Christian Church.

The NAACP Stockton San Joaquin Branch, the Tracy African American Association and the Tracy Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated hosted the forum.

Races represented:

  • Tracy mayor
  • Tracy City Council, Districts 1 and 3
  • Tracy Unified School District, Trustee Areas 4, 6 and 7
  • Jefferson Elementary School District, Trustee Area 4

All candidates in these races were invited to participate. The forum was strictly for educational purposes and to provide voters with neutral, nonpartisan information.
